About This Opportunity

The P.A. Thacker Undergraduate Scholarship in Swine Production is awarded to full-time students enrolled in any year of the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture degree program majoring in Animal Science at the University of Saskatchewan. This scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate both academic achievement and a strong interest in swine production. Applicants must submit a written statement outlining their accomplishments in swine production. The award is valued at a minimum of $1,000 and is offered to one recipient annually. Selection is based on the merits of the written statement, academic achievement particularly in the swine production class, and demonstrated interest in swine production through course and/or project work, as determined by the Award Committee. Animal Bioscience students are not eligible for consideration.
