Pacific Excellence Scholarship

The Pacific Excellence Scholarship was established in 2018 to support the University of Waikato's commitment to recognise and foster the excellence of Pacific students. The Scholarship is awarded based on meritorious achievement and connection to the Pacific community. This scholarship is available for all subject areas and provides up to $20,000 over three years to support domestic students of Pacific Island descent who are currently studying at NCEA Level 3 towards University Entrance. Recipients must intend to enrol full-time in an undergraduate degree programme at the University of Waikato.
