About this opportunity
The Page and Elizabeth Jenkins Scholarship was created by Rose T. Macy in loving memory and to honor the legacy of her parents, Page T. and Elizabeth Jenkins. This scholarship is a tribute to Page Jenkins' love of geology and his professional dedication as well as honoring Elizabeth Jenkins' support for Page's career. The scholarship supports students enrolled in either the Department of Geology, Department of Geophysics, or the School of Energy Resources at the University of Wyoming, with concentrations in Professional Land Management or Energy and Environmental Systems.
This renewable scholarship provides $5,000 annually and can be renewed for up to two additional years if the recipient continues to meet the eligibility criteria. Awards support full-time sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate students who are U.S. citizens and demonstrate financial need through FAFSA filing. Recipients must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale.
The scholarship funds are restricted to tuition, fees, required books and supplies, room and board, and other direct educational expenses related to study at the University of Wyoming. Award amounts are split between fall and spring semesters. Two scholarships are awarded each year, providing critical financial support to students pursuing studies in geology, geophysics, and energy resource management.
