About This Opportunity

The Painter Service for Others Scholarship supports full-time undergraduate juniors and seniors pursuing degrees in teaching or social work at a Colorado-accredited four-year institution, including students transferring from a community college. Eligible candidates will be working toward a K-12 teaching certificate or following a course of study in social work with a special emphasis on assisting children and young adults. The scholarship recognizes students who have demonstrated significant volunteer and community service work, along with strong leadership skills and social concern. Applications are reviewed based on commitment to the field, extracurricular activities and leadership, and vision for the future. This is a one-time award, though past recipients may reapply annually in a competitive process.
