About This Opportunity

The Palmer and Sheryl Holden Animal Science Scholarship is available to undergraduate students who are pursuing a major within the Department of Animal Sciences at North Dakota State University. The recipient must be participating or planning to participate in a study abroad program offered by the College of Agriculture, Food Systems and Natural Resources. Preference will be given to those students who are pursuing an independent study program as opposed to a group travel course, though both are eligible. Preference will be given to a student who demonstrates financial need as determined by the office of financial aid and scholarships. Further preference will be given to a citizen or permanent resident of the United States who has not yet traveled internationally. Students are automatically considered for this scholarship based on their completed General Application through the NDSU Scholarship Application portal.
