Papa Bear and Dr Dave Willox Golden Bears Football Award

The Papa Bear and Dr Dave Willox Golden Bears Football Award is a scholarship awarded to students with satisfactory academic standing entering, transferring, or continuing in an undergraduate or graduate degree program who are members of the Golden Bears Football team at the University of Alberta. Recipients are selected based on excellence in football, contributions made to football on and off the field, demonstrated leadership and potential to develop as a significant contributor to the Golden Bears program, and academic standing. The award gives consideration and preference to team members enrolled in the Faculty of Medicine, team members who are linemen, and students with indicated financial need. This endowed award was established by Laurene Willox Prof Corp to support student-athletes in the Golden Bears Football program.
