Pappers kulturstipendium

Pappers kulturstipendium is an annual cultural scholarship awarded by the Swedish Paper Workers' Union (Svenska Pappersindustriarbetareförbundet) to stimulate cultural expressions among its members. The scholarship recognizes members who actively engage in or create cultural works such as poetry, music, painting, or other forms of arts and crafts. Additionally, established cultural figures who have connections to Pappers or the paper industry can be nominated for the award, even if they are not members. Recipients receive a prize sum and the statue 'Cellulosarbetaren' by Per Nilsson-Öst. The scholarship is determined by a cultural committee and aims to support and promote cultural activities within the union's membership and broader community.
