Passion for Life Award in Memory of Rene Ayangma

The Passion for Life Award in Memory of Rene Ayangma is awarded to a UPEI student involved in Panther Sport who exemplifies the qualities of Rene Ayangma and who demonstrates desire and enthusiasm toward Panther Sport. This award was created by UPEI Panther Athletes in memory of Rene Ayangma who died during his third year at UPEI. Rene was a sports enthusiast and former Panther who excelled at a number of sports. His personal qualities and love of life were felt by all that knew him. The Passion for Life Award is established to recognize all Panther athletes who pass away during their time as a UPEI student.
