About this opportunity
The Pat Richardson Scholarship for Women in Engineering supports female domestic students enrolled in electrical engineering programs at the University of Queensland. The scholarship provides $10,000 AUD per year for up to three years, depending on the student's year of study. Established in 2025, the scholarship is maintained by an annual donation from J&P Richardson Industries in memory of Patricia Richardson, one of the founding family members of J&P Richardson Industries. The scholarship aims to support women pursuing undergraduate and honours degrees in electrical engineering, recognizing academic achievement, interest in electrical engineering, and personal and leadership qualities. Up to three scholarships are awarded annually, with applications opening on January 15, 2026 and closing on March 1, 2026.
