About this opportunity

This scholarship was established by Emeritus Professor Pat Walsh, who served as the Vice-Chancellor of Victoria University of Wellington from 2005 to 2014. Its purpose is to provide assistance to students who may face financial constraints that could hinder their academic pursuits. The scholarship is open to domestic and international applicants who are enrolled full-time in the second year of their first undergraduate degree. Preference is given to applicants experiencing financial hardship who maintain a grade point average of B or above. Recipients are eligible to hold the scholarship for up to two years, subject to maintaining a B average, and will be encouraged to participate in WILP or Wellington Plus programmes.
