Patricia Beattie-Huggan Award

The Patricia Beattie-Huggan Award is a nursing scholarship awarded to an undergraduate nursing student who has completed a clinical placement working with breast cancer patients. This award recognizes students who have demonstrated extraordinary care and compassion in oncology nursing settings. The recipient must have expressed an interest in oncology nursing and shown an appreciation for empowering patients to fully engage in the healing process. The award is made based on recommendation by the School of Nursing at the University of Prince Edward Island.
