About this opportunity
The Patricia L Daunais QC Memorial Award in Law is awarded to students who are First Nations, Inuit, or Métis people of Canada in accordance with the Constitution Act, 1982, Part 2, Section 35(2) with satisfactory academic standing entering the first year of a Juris Doctor degree. Selection is based on academic standing and demonstrated leadership, community engagement, volunteerism and/or involvement in extracurricular activities. This renewable award was established through endowed funds by Keith Brown in memory of his late wife, Patricia L Daunais QC. The award is renewable for an additional two years subject to satisfactory academic standing, providing sustained financial support throughout the JD program.
