Patrick Lenihan Graduate Fellowship in Economics

The Patrick Lenihan Graduate Fellowship in Economics supports graduate students pursuing a Master's Degree in Economics at Eastern Illinois University. The fellowship provides a tuition waiver for recipients who have been accepted to the Graduate School and the Department of Economics as degree-seeking candidates. Preference is given to students who plan to pursue careers as economists or teachers of economics, and to those planning to pursue advanced degrees in economics. At the discretion of the Graduate Coordinator, research responsibilities may be assigned to the fellowship recipient. Recipients may only receive this award once, and the fellowship is announced in the Spring semester with disbursement in the Fall semester.
