About this opportunity
The Patrick Munn Memorial Scholarship Fund was established at The Pittsburgh Foundation in memory of Patrick Munn who passed away unexpectedly on November 5, 2022. Patrick's passion for education will endure through this scholarship fund for college/university students who share his kind spirit and his enthusiasm for band. This single-year scholarship is available to graduating high school seniors who are members of their school marching band and demonstrate financial need. Preference is given to students who have exhibited kindness and compassion in their daily lives. Eligible students must attend one of ten specified high schools in the Pittsburgh region, including Aliquippa, Ambridge, Avonworth, Beaver, Central Valley, Freedom, Hopewell, Keystone Oaks, New Castle, or Quaker Valley. Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and plan to attend a four-year college or university.
