About this opportunity

This grant provides support to defer the costs of registration, lodging and travel for student members of APA Division 16 to attend the APA Annual Convention. The grant offers up to $1,000 to help cover registration, lodging, and travel expenses. Grant monies may not be used for food, drink, or any materials not included in the registration fee. The program is sponsored by the American Psychological Foundation and Division 16 - Division of School Psychology. Student Affiliates in School Psychology (SASP) is a student-led organization for doctoral and specialist students pursuing a career in school psychology, and individual student members as well as university chapters have access to many benefits of SASP. APF encourages applicants from diverse backgrounds with respect to age, race, color, religion, creed, nationality, ability, sexual orientation, gender, and geography. Applications are evaluated based on conformance with stated program goals, demonstrated understanding of the field of school psychology, and the applicant's scholarly accomplishments and potential in this field.
