Paul Reasor Memorial Scholarship

The Paul Reasor Memorial Scholarship honors Coach Reasor, who himself received a college education through an athletic scholarship. He recognized that athletics and the hard work required to excel at a sport helped build student character and provided equal access to educational opportunities. This scholarship is designed to provide financial support to graduating seniors from Eastmont High School who have participated in varsity sports. Because students with higher GPAs generally receive more scholarship opportunities, Coach Reasor specifically desired to help student-athletes in the middle of the class, creating opportunities for those who might otherwise be overlooked despite their athletic dedication and character development.
