About this opportunity
The Paul "Ryan" Pineau Award is presented to the graduating student who has achieved the highest mark in Accounting 4310, Income Taxation, at the University of Prince Edward Island School of Business. This award was established by Ryan Pineau as a tribute to his commitment to university studies and the field of accounting. Ryan graduated from UPEI in 2005 with a Bachelor of Business Administration-Cooperative Education degree with a certificate in Accounting and a minor in Economics. He was the recipient of several awards while at UPEI including the Certified General Accountants of PEI Prize, the Institute of Chartered Accountants Auditing Prize and Accounting Prize, the Society of Management Accountants of PEI Award, the Owen F. Mullin Prize, and the Rundell Seaman Award for the highest overall academic standing in the 2005 graduating class. Having achieved his Chartered Accountant designation in 2007, Ryan is a partner at MacPherson Roche Smith and Associates.
