About this opportunity
The Paulsen Family Aspire Scholarship is part of the Aspire Scholarship Program at The University of Queensland. This scholarship was established in 2021 by the Paulsen Family under the Create Change Scholarship match initiative. The scholarship supports domestic students who are experiencing significant financial disadvantage and are the first in their family to attend university. The scholarship provides $4,500 for one year to assist a commencing undergraduate student enrolling in any bachelor program at UQ. To be eligible, applicants must be domestic students who can demonstrate significant financial hardship through achieving the maximum points for the 'Financial Hardship' category of QTAC's Educational Access Scheme, have been awarded The Queensland Commitment Scholarship, and have not completed any prior tertiary study at bachelor level or higher. The scholarship is awarded based on documented financial situation, number of dependants, and prioritizes students who are first in family to attend university.
