PD Jack Prize

The PD Jack Prize is a scholarship established in 2014 to support undergraduate students studying Arabic Language and Cultures at the University of Sydney. This scholarship was donated by the Estate of the late Phillip David Jack. The award is designed to assist first or second year undergraduate students who have demonstrated strong academic performance in Arabic Language and Cultures studies. The scholarship provides significant financial support to help students continue their studies in this field, covering both tuition fees and living expenses. Recipients must maintain academic excellence throughout the tenure of the award and continue enrollment in Arabic Language and Cultures units. The scholarship recognizes merit, leadership, and creative skills, with preference given to students who demonstrate financial hardship and those enrolled in a major in Arabic Language and Cultures.
