The Peace and Social Justice Scholarship was established in 2024 in recognition of Marty Morrison and a lifetime dedicated to advocating for Education, Peace and Justice. The scholarship aims to support students pursuing a Master of Social Justice at the University of Sydney. Preference is given to applicants who demonstrate financial disadvantage and/or hardship based on various criteria including Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander identity, low socio-economic status, carer responsibilities, disability, sole-parent responsibilities, regional or remote disadvantage, refugee status, LGBTIQ+ identity, or first-generation university student status.
