Pearl Turner Memorial Award

The Pearl Turner Memorial Award is presented to a student entering the fourth year of studies in the Faculty of Education in Elementary Education at the University of Alberta. This endowed award was originally established by the Edmonton Branch of the Canadian Committee on Early Childhood (OMEP) and is currently maintained by family and friends of Pearl Turner in recognition of her significant contribution to early childhood education. Selection is based on academic standing and personal and professional qualities. Recipients are automatically considered based on their completed General Application.
