About this opportunity
The PEI Retired Teachers' Association Graduation Prize is awarded to a graduating student in the Bachelor of Education program who demonstrates a high degree of competence and ability in preparing and presenting learning materials to students in a classroom setting. The award is specifically for students who have graduated from a Prince Edward Island high school. The PEI Retired Teachers' Association (PEIRTA) has been in existence for decades with primary objectives to assist its members in staying abreast of developments in education, maintaining professional contacts, and meeting with government regarding improved terms for retired teachers. Members of the PEIRTA act as volunteers in their communities, host many activities and provide financial support to future teachers through scholarships and awards.
