Pella Awards

Several awards will be presented annually to full-time undergraduate students in Year Two, Three, or Four and/or master's students in the School of Architecture at the University of Waterloo. Selection is based on submission and review of a project that demonstrates excellence in sustainable design, and that exemplifies careful consideration of materials, details, placement, and orientation of fenestration. First place will be awarded $3,000, second place $2,000, and third place $1,000. Interested students may apply by submitting their project to the Director of the School of Architecture by May 1. This fund is made possible by a donation from Pella to support student success and innovation in fenestration. Students are eligible to receive this award multiple times, and the School of Architecture will advertise the award and select recipients normally each Spring.
