Pennie Boyett Scholarship

The Pennie Boyett Scholarship is offered by the Tarrant County College Foundation to support students currently enrolled at or entering Tarrant County College who intend to pursue an associate degree or certificate of completion. The scholarship provides financial assistance to students with a minimum GPA of 2.5 and who are enrolled in at least 6 credit hours or full-time as defined by their program. The award is renewable for the spring semester if the recipient maintains a minimum semester GPA of 2.5 and completes at least 6 credit hours in the fall. Preference is given to students who graduated from high school 12 years ago or earlier, applicants with a history of volunteerism, and those who meet federal or state guidelines for financial need. The scholarship amount varies and recipients are automatically considered based on their completed General Application.
