About this opportunity
The Pennsylvania Council for International Education and The Asia Institute are offering $2000 in scholarship funding to support students seeking to participate in global learning experiences in Asia. This scholarship is designed to facilitate international educational experiences for Pennsylvania college and university students who wish to study, intern, or conduct research in Asian countries. All submissions must be jointly submitted by a student and a faculty advisor, who can be either a Study Abroad Officer or a Professor with a working relationship with the student applicant. The scholarship supports various types of global learning experiences including short-term faculty-led programs (up to 8 weeks), semester or full year study abroad programs, international internships (minimum 6 weeks), and international scholarly research (minimum 4 weeks). Students must be seeking experiences in a country different from their nationality and/or different from the country that issued their passport.
