Performance Athlete Support Programme

The Performance Athlete Support Programme at Sheffield Hallam University allows talented student athletes to balance university life while achieving their sporting potential. The programme is designed for athletes competing at a high level in their sport, such as those selected to represent their country at senior or junior international level, playing in a professional academy, or in a recognised international pathway. Successful applicants receive support from a multi-disciplinary team of sport practitioners, free Team Hallam Ultimate Membership, and access to university facilities. Some students may also receive a bursary and support with sport-related expenses. The programme is open to students competing in Olympic, Paralympic or Commonwealth sports, or competing consistently at an exceptional level in sports recognised by British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS), with clear evidence of Olympic, Paralympic, Commonwealth, National Governing Body (NGB) or professional representation pathway.
