Perimeter Scholars International Award

Students accepted into the Perimeter Scholars International Program will be eligible for full financial support of their program. The University of Waterloo provides tuition scholarships and Perimeter Institute (PI) provides awards intended to cover expenses related to travel, housing, food, textbooks and reference material, student services fees, and incidental stipends as assessed by PI. The goal is to provide each student who is accepted into the Perimeter Scholars International Program with financial support of approximately $30,000 (domestic) or $40,000 (international), with amounts reviewed regularly. The award value for each student is determined by PI in conjunction with the University of Waterloo. This support is provided on a term by term basis with the award designed to cover all costs associated with the program. In certain specific cases, the actual value of the award may be reduced by the amount of any other significant (>$1,000) award intended to cover graduate study activity, such as those from major funding agencies like NSERC. All students accepted to the Perimeter Scholars International Program are eligible and will receive the award automatically.
