Perkins Family Bar None Award

The Perkins Family Bar None Award is awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing entering the third or fourth year of the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, Bachelor of Science in Animal Health or Bachelor of Science in Agricultural/Food Business Management degree program in the Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences at the University of Alberta. Recipients are selected on the basis of leadership qualities as demonstrated by involvement in extracurricular and community activities. The recipient must come from a farming or ranching family where the primary income of the family is derived from the farm or ranch. Preference is given to students with financial need. This endowed award was established by Bryan (BSc Ag 1969) and Sharon Perkins. Students are eligible to receive only one Bar None Award or Scholarship in any given academic year.
