About this opportunity
The Naturewatch Foundation Pet Rescue Grant helps fund frontline animal welfare projects in the UK that directly help with the rescue or rehabilitation of dogs, cats, and rabbits affected by the illegal pet trade. The grant supports non-profit organizations working to address the suffering caused by cruelty and neglect in the illegal pet trade. Funds can be used for veterinary care, behavioural support, specialist facilities or equipment, and training for personnel. The grant is made possible through the generosity of Naturewatch Foundation supporters and aims to help secure rescue and rehabilitation of more pets who have been exploited for breeding and selling. Projects must benefit animals who have been directly affected by low-welfare or illegal pet breeding or selling, and organizations must support Naturewatch Foundation's mission to end animal cruelty and advance animal welfare standards.
