Pete and Mary Houck Scholarship

The Pete and Mary Houck Scholarship was established to honor Pete and Mary Houck, who lived in and loved the Wenatchee Valley for many years. After Pete's passing in 2013, Mary moved to Highgate Senior Living Center where she received excellent care. This scholarship provides support for students pursuing a degree in healthcare as their educational goals. The scholarship is available to current residents of Chelan or Douglas County who are pursuing an education in the field of healthcare, including CNA training, nursing, radiologic technology, and other healthcare-related fields. Recipients must plan to attend an accredited educational program in the United States, which may include language classes, GED coursework, training/certificate programs, Associate's degrees, Bachelor's degrees, or other individual classes.
