Peter and Marcia Carpenter Scholarship

University of St Andrews Original Source

About This Opportunity

This scholarship was established by generous donations from Marcia and Peter Carpenter 1956, in order to support students from Scotland and the Rest of the UK in their studies in Science or Medicine at St Andrews. The scholarship forms part of the Wardlaw Scholarship scheme, established in 2004 to provide financial assistance to academically gifted students who would otherwise struggle with the cost of studying at the University of St Andrews. The scholarship provides £4,400 per year paid as maintenance but can be used towards University accommodation fees. This award is paid annually for the duration of the student's undergraduate programme. Selection is based on financial need and donor-specific criteria.
