Peter Densem Postgraduate Scholarship

The Peter Densem Postgraduate Scholarship was established in 2017 by Peter Densem from Tauranga, marking the year he turned 100. Mr. Densem was a teacher, principal, and served in World War II as a Fleet Air Arm navigator. The scholarship provides approximately $5,000 NZD for one year to support talented, high-achieving students who would otherwise struggle to pay for their study. This scholarship is specifically designed for students enrolled full-time in a master's or doctoral degree with a focus on agriculture or horticulture at Massey University. Applicants must have completed the first year of their programme and be in their second or third year of study. The scholarship recognizes students based on their academic achievements, work ethic, and financial need. It provides financial support to help deserving students continue their postgraduate studies in agricultural or horticultural fields.
