Peter Elzinga Family Foundation Educational Scholarships

The Peter Elzinga Family Foundation was established to award Educational Scholarships intended to promote the advancement of education and provide an incentive and means for anyone to continue learning. Scholarships are available to residents of Alberta who are currently students continuing their education and to those residents who are returning to school to further their education. Awards are granted based on financial need, community involvement, and leadership skills with the intent to encourage the pursuit of further education. As of January 2023, the foundation has transferred management and awarding of funds to the Edmonton Community Foundation, and applications are now submitted through Hilltop Awards and Bursaries.
