Peter Giles Memorial Scholarship in Pharmacy

The Peter Giles Memorial Scholarship in Pharmacy provides financial support to domestic undergraduate pharmacy students at the University of Sydney who are experiencing financial or social disadvantage. This scholarship has been generously donated by Mrs Judith Giles in honour of her late husband Mr Peter Giles to assist students studying undergraduate pharmacy at the University of Sydney. The scholarship is awarded to students who are about to commence either the Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours) and Master of Pharmacy Practice or the Bachelor of Pharmacy and Management (Honours) and Master of Pharmacy Practice. Recipients are selected based on both academic merit and demonstrated financial or social disadvantage. The scholarship provides $6,000 per annum for the duration of the degree program, paid in two equal instalments after the census date of each semester. To maintain the scholarship, recipients must remain enrolled full-time and maintain a minimum Semester Average Mark (SAM) of 65 each semester.
