Petrie Family Scholarship

The Petrie Family Scholarship provides financial support for undergraduate students enrolled in the School of Freshwater Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee who are in good academic standing. This scholarship is designed to support students passionate about water, environmental, or atmospheric science fields. Students with a completed and up-to-date Panther Scholarship Portal General Application and Awards Application will be considered for scholarships, typically between February and April each spring. Scholarships awarded in the spring apply to the following school year, meaning students graduating that same spring or summer are not eligible. Applicants are required to demonstrate their engagement with water, environmental, or atmospheric science focused activities and explain their passion for these fields. The scholarship aims to help students pursue their educational and career goals in freshwater sciences and related environmental disciplines.
