Petroleum Training and Education Fund (Petrofund)

Petroleum Training and Education Fund (PETROFUND) was formed in 1993 in order to offer training in fields of science and information technology through scholarships and support education institution building. The scholarship is specifically designed for Namibian citizens who have an interest in pursuing a career in the Namibian Petroleum Industry. The program supports both undergraduate and postgraduate students studying full-time on campus across all subject areas. For postgraduate scholarships, applicants must have relevant Honors or Undergraduate Degree with an average pass of 60% and above. For undergraduate scholarships, applicants must have outstanding academic results with excellent passes in Mathematics, Sciences and English.
