About This Opportunity

This NASA Postdoctoral Program opportunity focuses on studies of asteroids and rocky planetary bodies through analysis of meteorites and/or experiments. The work may span parent body processes, such as differentiation, metamorphism, alternation, regolith formation, and/or impact melting. The project may include collecting and analyzing geochemical data on either astromaterials or experimental products. The NASA Postdoctoral Program offers unique research opportunities to highly-talented scientists to engage in ongoing NASA research projects at a NASA Center, NASA Headquarters, or at a NASA-affiliated research institute. These one- to three-year fellowships are competitive and are designed to advance NASA's missions in space science, Earth science, aeronautics, space operations, exploration systems, and astrobiology.
