PGCE Lewisham, Greenwich and Southwark Fee Waivers

The PGCE Lewisham, Greenwich and Southwark Fee Waivers program provides full tuition fee waivers for students pursuing a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) at Goldsmiths, University of London. This scholarship is specifically designed for residents of the London Boroughs of Lewisham, Greenwich, or Southwark who are undertaking teacher training. The program aims to support local community members in pursuing careers in education by removing financial barriers to postgraduate teacher training. Three full tuition fee waivers are available for the 2025 year of entry. Applicants must hold an offer of study on a PGCE at Goldsmiths, reside in one of the three specified London boroughs, and be eligible for Home fees. The selection process is competitive and involves initial eligibility screening followed by assessment by an awarding panel from the Education and Lifelong Learning department. The awarding panel considers both academic records and responses to application questions, giving equal weight to various skills, attributes, and experiences.
