Pharmacy Class of 1979 Wellness Leadership Award

The Pharmacy Class of 1979 Wellness Leadership Award is presented to a student enrolled in the third or subsequent year of a Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of Alberta. The award recognizes students who demonstrate both academic excellence and leadership in enhancing wellness within the university or broader community. Applicants must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or greater. Selection is based on academic standing and demonstrated leadership activities. Preference is given to students who have developed programs, conducted research, or created deprescribing initiatives that support wellness. This award is funded annually by the Pharmacy Class of 1979 and is administered through the Faculty of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences.
