About This Opportunity

This PhD scholarship focuses on opening up the next generation of materials discovery through the development of modelling and AI techniques driving autonomous discovery of materials. The successful candidate will explore the nature of metal corrosion inhibitor interactions through advanced molecular modelling and integrate this understanding into the formulation of evolutionary algorithms to discover new inhibitors. The research will work with robotic systems to dramatically increase the rate of materials discovery. The candidate will work with 3 world leading teams to advance this cutting-edge research in computational materials science and artificial intelligence.
