About this opportunity
This PhD project explores the intersection of technology and human experience, focusing on innovative approaches to designing digital technologies that promote psychological, social, and physical wellness across different life stages and contexts. The project will involve critical analysis of existing academic literature, participatory and co-design with users, development of novel technology prototypes, and evaluation using qualitative and quantitative methods. Expected outcomes include new knowledge on designing for technology-supported wellbeing, particularly when using human-centred AI. The research requires expertise in Human-Computer Interaction and Human-Centred Computing, with interest in Human-Centred AI and Social Computing. The successful candidate will have aspirations to publish in leading venues for HCI research, including ACM CHI and CSCW.
