About this opportunity
This PhD scholarship is attached to an Australian Research Council (ARC) Industry Fellowship project that will examine how children use streaming platforms to discover different types of screen entertainment content. The project seeks applicants with a background in media and communication/cultural studies and/or child development to undertake a PhD exploring how children use streaming video on demand platforms to watch screen entertainment. The research will involve conducting child audience research in collaboration with the Lead Chief Investigator Jessica Balanzategui. Expertise in children's media, streaming video platforms and/or screen audience/ethnographic research methods is preferred.
