About this opportunity
This CSIRO-RMIT co-funded PhD scholarship supports cutting-edge research in mineral resources recovery and mining site environmental management. The PhD candidate will work on innovative processing protocols for complex mineral processing, mineral leaching processes, and mining site environmental science. The research will be conducted through hands-on experiments and collaborations with CSIRO Mineral Resources experts. The candidate should have experience in one or more of the following research areas: Mineralogy, Mineral Processing, Hydrometallurgy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Geochemistry. This opportunity provides intensive knowledge development in these fields while contributing to environmental management solutions for the mining sector.
