About this opportunity
This project explores optimising human–AI interaction through intelligent interfaces that sense user needs, provide context-aware assistance while preserving user autonomy. The successful candidate will work at the intersection of human-computer interaction, artificial intelligence, and cognitive science. They will design and evaluate prototype systems that demonstrate how AI can provide timely, contextual assistance while preserving user autonomy and decision-making capacity. This project offers opportunities to publish in top-tier HCI and AI venues, collaborate with industry partners, and contribute to next-generation interface design that could transform how humans and AI systems work together across domains including productivity tools, health applications, and educational technologies.
