About this opportunity
This PhD scholarship is funded by the Australian Research Council (ARC) under project DP240102585. The scholarship is designed for students with a strong background in mathematics and/or theoretical physics to work on nonlinear dynamical systems theory and simulations. The research focus includes applications in evolutionary and epidemiological dynamics in population networks. The successful candidate will work with Professor Lewi Stone and requires a strong mathematical background, ideally in differential equation theory. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates interested in applying mathematical theory to real-world biological and epidemiological problems.
