About this opportunity
This scholarship is for students with a strong physics background interested in conducting multidisciplinary research (experiments and/or theory) into the magneto-optical properties of genetically engineered proteins. The project has both experimental and theory components, so candidates interested in theory only are welcome to apply. The research is conducted within the Quantum Nanoscience Laboratory at RMIT University and focuses on studying the magneto-optical properties of genetically engineered proteins for quantum sensor applications. This is a multidisciplinary research opportunity that bridges physics, biology, and quantum technology.
