PhD Scholarship in Spatial Health Research and Urban Design

This PhD scholarship explores how changes in neighbourhood walkability influence cardiovascular health in older adults, using geospatial analysis and mixed-methods research. The project sits at the intersection of urban health, geospatial science, and aging research, examining how neighbourhood walkability impacts cardiovascular health using geospatial analysis and mixed-methods research in urban neighbourhoods. It is ideal for candidates interested in spatial epidemiology, built environment and health, or the role of urban design in chronic disease prevention.
