About This Opportunity

The MRC Centre for Environment and Health at Imperial College London offers a PhD studentship focused on environment and health research. Successful PhD candidates will be supported by a leading bespoke training programme to ensure they are equipped with appropriate skills and experience to become first class researchers. The studentship will be based with one of the principal investigators in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics or the Environmental Research Group at Imperial College. Research areas include environmental exposure assessment and epidemiology (air pollution, noise, radiation, waste management, water, climate change and health), molecular signatures of exposures and disease pathways, urban environments and health, biostatistics and data science, and cohort studies. The programme aims to train and develop the next generation of academic and policy leaders in environment and health research, working in collaboration with academic partners, health and environmental agencies, and industry partners.
