About this opportunity
The Phi Alpha Eta Scholarship is awarded to members of the Phi Alpha Eta Honorary Society at Eastern Illinois University who demonstrate financial need, academic excellence, and involvement in campus and community activities. Recipients must maintain a grade point average of 3.25 or better and have at least one semester remaining at Eastern Illinois University following the award allocation.
The scholarship recognizes students who exhibit characteristics of scholarship and service as required by Phi Alpha Eta. Recipients are required to attend the Fall Phi Alpha Eta induction ceremony to be recognized. Awards are announced in the Spring semester and paid in the following Fall semester.
Applicants must demonstrate their service contributions to both Phi Alpha Eta and the broader community or EIU campus. The scholarship emphasizes both academic achievement and active engagement in organizational and community service activities.
