Phi Theta Kappa All-Mississippi Academic Team Scholarship

The Phi Theta Kappa All-Mississippi Academic Team Scholarship is awarded to entering community college transfer students who meet the Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship criteria and have been named to a Phi Theta Kappa All-Mississippi Academic Team. The scholarship recognizes outstanding academic achievement among Mississippi community college transfer students who are members of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. The amount of the award is determined by the team level to which the student has been named, with First Team members receiving $2,000 and Second Team members receiving $1,000 for their first year at Mississippi State University. The award is disbursed equally over two semesters during the student's first year at MSU and may be stacked with the Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship. To be eligible, students must be entering transfer students with a minimum overall transferable GPA of 3.25 as computed by the MSU Office of Undergraduate Admissions, have a minimum of 48 transferable hours, be Mississippi residents, and be named members of either the All-Mississippi Academic First Team or Second Team.
